Tb10d Banda (removable)
The Banda removable version has a very neat spigot & socket mechanism where a hinged plate within the ground socket covers the bollard aperture after removal. They are secured by padlock and feature a unique 'through hole' at the top of the bollard (extra) for inserting a bar to assist removal and carrying. It is a good idea to install additional sockets elsewhere, to the side, where the removed bollard can be stored temporarily. The basic Banda (removable) is £475.
Please note that along with similarly specified tubular bollards it is not designed to withstand the impact of a vehicle without some degree of damage. It is not a ram-raid bollard but should be used as a guide or deterrent to access.
Stainless steel 304 grade, 2mm wall thickness with radially grained finish.
High quality 50mm wide vinyl banding (doesn't chip or fade and is replaceable) in a wide variety of colours; Red, white or yellow reflective banding; stainless steel reflective windows.
Weight & Above ground dimensions
15kg approx. and 5Kg for socket.
140mm diameter x H1000mm (above ground dimension); socket sunk 180mm below finished ground level.
Installation & Fixing
The removable version has a socket also with a baseplate fixing (same size and as fixed version). The socket is similarly bolted onto a below ground concrete base (same 180mm below ground level as fixed version) via 4No. M8 S/S resin bonded threaded anchor rods.
Foundations and fixings must be to Engineers final specification and approval.
316 grade stainless steel; electropolished finish; fixed version available; Through-hole; visibility banding - High quality 50mm wide vinyl banding in most RAL colours. Special stainless steel windows for reflective tape.
