As a seat with back support then the Bertie backrest is great for demanding street environments. There are two options - a timber backrest or a tubular backrest. Just like the bench version it is generously proportioned to accommodate three adults (or more in the 4 -bay version). Both are extremely elegant yet strong and built to last. We designed the back of the seat to look as good as the front so screws and fixings are largely concealed to preserve its clean lines and simple detailing. Both Bertie seats (bench and backrest) have proved to be our most popular seating for the public domain.
